• Work or education experience in laying brick, concrete material units, stone, and tuck-pointing
• Restore and re-tuckpoint, caulk, clean, and seal
• Lay out work using chalk lines, plumb bobs, tapes, squares, and levels
  

• Masonry education, field experience, or experience in the masonry construction industry (Open to apprenticeship and training)
• Arrive on time & ready to work each day
• Provide consistent effort throughout the workday
• Perform duties in a timely manner
• Listen to direction from supervisor, follow through and ask questions, as necessary
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, up to 75lbs
• Display personal commitment to Safety on construction projects with daily efforts to identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and or property damage using OSHA safety standards and best management practices
• Continuously develop self-knowledge pertaining to new methods, tools, standards or practices related to masonry 
• Must be self-motivated
• Must be able and willing to drive or travel locally, within the Tri-State area
• Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

• Set up and tear down scaffolding, bracing and temporary structures 
• When silo mixers are unavailable, mix cement or mortar using hoes, cement-mixing equipment, and/or hand tools
• Break or cut bricks, tiles, or blocks to size, using trowel edge, hammer, or power saw
• Stock materials with foresight as to what the bricklayers will need to perform their work
• Bricklayer apprenticeship and career advancement training options are also available
  

• Some experience in the construction industry or Masonry Education
• Arrive on time & ready to work each day
• Provide consistent effort throughout the workday.

• May require some local travel within the Tri-State

• Continuously develop self-knowledge pertaining to new methods, tools, standards or practices related to the masonry
• Other onsite duties may be required as well including erection/dismantle of scaffold, cleanup or general labor work in conjunction with the project
• Must be able and willing to drive or travel locally, within the Tri-State area
• Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
